IPABInternational Programme for Antarctic Buoys

The International Programme for Antarctic Buoys (IPAB) is a WCRP/SCAR project with the aim to maintain a network of drifting buoys in the Southern Ocean, in particular over sea ice, to provide meteorological and oceanographic data for real-time operational requirements and research. IPAB are holding a meeting to discuss future plans, report on current activities, and discuss scientific and technological issues.
