The POLDER WG has completed its archiving of the first version of "POLDER best practice guide to implementing schema.org for data discovery”, it can now be found in Zenodo and Ocean Best Practices under the ‘Polar Collaborations’ collection. It was the goal of the POLDER WG to have the document archived in both locations to help promote awareness and uptake in both the polar and ocean communities. Future iterations and updates will be made with any new developments or recommendation through the ESIP Science-on-schema.org and POLDER WG meetings. Any comments, suggestions, or questions can be logged through the POLDER GitHub - https://github.com/POLDER-Crew.
The WDS-ITO has also recently published a journal article highlighting the support provided to the PODLER WG during the Pilot phase of the Polar Federated Search. This article is open-access and available in the Polar Science Journal: Polar federated search: New infrastructure to support the polar community.
Thank you to all who participate in the POLDER space and helped guide the Schema.org Best Practices.
