We want all nations making observations in the Southern Ocean to be recognised for their contributions to the international effort. Funding and implementation of national projects and programs form the bedrock of SOOS data collection and delivery, and a sustained observing system cannot be achieved without these national efforts.

To aid communication and ensure involvement of all nations, SOOS is also building a network of National Representatives (see table below). If your nation does not have a National Representative please contact the SOOS Executive Officer.
