SOFLUX Webinars

The SOOS Southern Ocean Fluxes (SOFLUX) Capability Working Group launched a series of monthly webinars intended to share flux observing activities and to provide a forum to showcase the work of early-career investigators.

Times will vary depending on the time zone and scheduling preference of the speaker, and talks will be recorded (playlist available here).

 Upcoming Webinars

“The role of sea ice in regulating interannual variability in wintertime sea-air CO2 flux along the West Antarctic Peninsula" by Elise Droste (Alfred Wegener Institute, Germany)

September 21st 2023, 1600 CET

 Future Webinars

  • Volunteers invited for upcoming months.

We’d like to showcase early career research. If you are or know someone who would like to present, please contact Sarah Gille or Marcel du Plessis

We expect to coordinate with OASIS, which plans quarterly webinars. Webinar times and speakers will be publicized on the SOOS social media platforms.
